Winning, retaining, and developing key accounts

The Modern Account Manager conference is a smaller, more personal conference of B2B account managers with plenty of opportunities for connection around content related to The Role, Skills and Capability, Technology, and Accounts. Presenters will inform, educate, and inspire modern B2B account managers in their pursuit of value creation leading to mutual growth. While change is apparent from every direction, some things remain the same. You will hear candid sharing from vendors, industry luminaries, and your peers, based on their own experiences and solutions to their most pressing challenges.

All registrants will receive:

  • a copy of all approved session recordings or transcripts, and related presenter assets from all conference locations, allowing personal reflection and individual comparisons

    Each conference location shares the same general program format.  Sessions may include a mix of live in person or live remote video presenters.

    Skill sets for the Modern Account Manager are different to those of other sales professionals. Spanning functional boundaries across your business, in addition to a deep understanding of the customer, what skills and capability do you recognise, desire, and develop in yourself and the team?

    Technology

    We can’t avoid it. When chosen and implemented well, technology is a force multiplier. Otherwise it can be a dead weight and hinderance. What is your tech stack and what works for your oganisation?

    So much about your current or prospective accounts is changing. Expectations, engagement, pace of change, ability to adapt, … the list goes on. What are you experiencing, how are you delivering, what do you foresee for your accounts in the futures?

    Panel sessions

    Dedicated time is built into the program schedule inviting in-person presenters to participate in a facilitated panel discussion.  This discussion allows participants to ask broader or deeper questions, or any others not covered or arising since reflecting on a previous presentation and chatting with others.
