The New Zealand Institute of Sales is working on a program for all sales professionals to work towards earning a recognised credential with endorsements. The Certified Practising Sales Professional (CPSP) will signal mastery to a new benchmark of excellence, demonstrating advanced knowledge and skills, opening the door to better opportunities and higher earnings.

The New Zealand Institute of Sales will offer the opportunity to earn designations for every step of your sales career, developed in conjunction with employers and industry leaders who have their finger on the pulse of succeeding in the sales profession here and now.

An underlying capability framework forms the backbone of the CPSP program assessing knowledge and skills against core capabilities and areas of expertise.  These cover the breadth of roles within the sales profession at multiple levels of proficiency.  We are also designing in considerations for prerequisite requirements, breadth of knowledge and skill coverage, and rigour of assessment.
